Tagging a tweet on the organisational changes by the party in Tamil Nadu, Karti Chidambaram tweeted, "These jumbo committees serve no purpose. 32 VP, 57 GS, 104 Secretaries. None will have any authority which means no accountability."
The Congress MP from Sivaganga also slammed the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance and said the people of Tamil Nadu do not want a government which has any "stain, scent or shadow" of the BJP as its 'Hindi-Hindutva' agenda "irritates" them.
A Delhi court Wednesday issued summons to former Union minister P Chidambaram and his son Karti in the INX Media money-laundering case on taking cognisance of the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against them.
The CBI also informed that Karti Chidambaram will come back to India on May 24 and he has been directed to appear before them in 16 hours.
His father, P Chidambaram, said he will return after a few days.
On the arrest of P Chidambaram, Karti said, "This is like a staged reality show to have all these dramatic visuals on television. There is no reason for this kind of drama... It's not done in an honest investigation.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to Chidambaram, a senior Congress leader, in the INX Media money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate.
The apex court's order came hours after the high court extended Chidambaram's protection from arrest in the ED case from March 20 to March 22.
Declining urgent hearing, the top court observed that judges have more cases 'than they can handle'.

The central probe agency issued a provisional order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act for attachment of Indian assets in Kodaikanal and Ooty in Tamil Nadu and a flat in Delhi's Jorbagh. A cottage and house in Somerset in the UK and a tennis club located in Barcelona, Spain have also been attached as part of the same order, the agency said.
Karti granted interim protection from arrest till July 10 .
Apart from INX Media and Aircel-Maxis, the four other firms which are under the scanner are Diageo Scotland, Essar Steel, Katara Holdings and Elforge Ltd. These firms were granted FIPB approval when Chidambaram was the FM, reports Shrimi Choudhary.
The ED also alleged that Karti had 'disposed' off a property in Gurugram and had 'closed certain bank accounts.
"I have lost count, how many times has it been? Must be a record," Karti tweeted without specifying.
Over 100 questions on various aspects of the case were drafted by investigators which were put to 45-year-old Karti.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi allowed his plea as Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for CBI and the Enforcement Directorate, did not oppose.
He also asked why anyone seeking to contest the Congress president's election should go to the PCC office to get the electoral roll as this does not even happen in a club election.

The HC asked him to furnish a bail bond of Rs two lakh and a surety of like amount.
If convicted, the offences entail a maximum punishment of seven years.
His answer to every question was, "I am politically victimised", the CBI said.
Chidamabaram's counsel told the top court that he is sought by ED to be "vicariously involved" in the INX Media money laundering case as he is the father of Karti Chidambaram, who according to the probe agencies tried to influence the Foreign Investment Promotion Board members.
"If the government wishes to target me, they should do so directly, not harass friends of my son who carry on their own businesses and have nothing to do with politics," he said in a statement shortly after reports of IT and ED searches on some premises connected with Karti's friends.
Apart from them, Chidambaram's wife -- Nalini -- has been chargesheeted by the CBI in the Saradha chit-fund scam for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1.4 crore.
The ED had filed the first chargesheet in the case against Chidambaram's son Karti; later, a supplementary chargesheet was also filed against him.
The Central Bureau of Investigation had called Karti for questioning on Thursday in connection with the foreign investment clearance given in the Aircel-Maxis deal in 2006 when his father Chidambaram was the finance minister.
The Congress leader threatened to give a "fitting lesson" in the ensuing elections. "People are watching the excesses of this government," he said.
